It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Lee Tomlinson of Atoka, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Hazel Lee may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Hazel Lee touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Stanley and Thelma Stanley (Compton); her husband Myrle Gene Tomlinson; her brother James Stanley; and her nephew Marty Coats.
She is survived by: her sons, Dale Tomlinson of Wards Chapel, OK and Ronald Tomlinson of Boggy Depot, OK; her sister Barbara Coats of Tushka, OK; her nephew Jimmy Coats of Tushka, OK; and her cousin Jerry Stephens (Mae) of Atoka, OK. She is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Service (718 W 13th St, Atoka, OK 74525). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wards Chapel Cemetery.
