He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dickson and Blanche Dickson (McGinty); his siblings, Sharon Schumock of Winnie Rogers, Charles Dickson Jr. and Dallas Gene Dickson; and his brother-in-law Richard Schumock.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Dickson; his children, Shannon Dickson (Dimitria) of Atoka, OK, Brian Dickson (Jennifer) of Rowlett, TX, Camilla Dickson of Pickton, TX, Christine Burnett (Roger) of El Dorado, KS and Crystal Miller (Joe) of Collinsville, TX; and his brother Ronald Dickson (Nancy) of Clarksville, TN. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
