He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Newman and Lydie Annie Pugh (Coppell); his wife Janice Fay Pugh (Pittman); and his siblings, Billie Sherrell, Bobby Dean Pugh, Wesley Glendon Pugh, Otis Leroy Pugh, Pearl Pittman and Eldon Ray Pugh.
He is survived by: his children, Russell "Rusty" Pugh (Christi) of Atoka, Oklahoma and Jana Finch; his grandchildren, Brandon (Allissia), Zachary (Jammie), Christopher Pugh, Austin Finch and Lydia Sowels (Caleb); and his great grandchildren, Zachary Finch, Cayden, Jarrod, Tristen, Seonna and Rosalyne. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
