He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Owens and Callie Owens (Tomlinson); and his wife Shirley Owens (Ayers). He is survived by: his children, Kenneth Owens (Sheila) of Atoka, Brenda Butterfield (Jack) of Atoka, Russell Owens (Linda) of Valley Springs, Tammy Westervelt (Steve) of Coppell and Jerry Owens (Aimee) of Wilton; and his siblings, Norene Shoemake of Warrensburg, MO, Wayne Owens of Atoka, OK and Melba. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren.
