He was predeceased by: his parents, John Moon and Addie Moon (Gregory); his wife Betty Patterson; and his siblings, Herman, Mary, Ellen, Leroy, J. D., Lavada, Irlie, Ethel, Elbert and Dean.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Moon of Asher and Sandy; his son-in-law Ron Patten of Tecumseh; his brothers, Kenneth and Delbert; and his grandchildren, James Moon (Monica), Jim (Amanda Patten), Tracy (Steve Taylor), Casey (Lindsey Patten) and Scott (Brandi Patten). He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; and other extended family and friends.
