He was predeceased by: his parents, Royce Strickland and Pat Strickland of Asher, OK.; and his sons, Darrell Strickland and Larry Adams. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Strickland; his sister Raedean McGruder; and his children, Nealon Adams, Denise Strickland, Kim Wells, Kellie Dunn, David Strickland, Dusk Florow and Debbie Strickland. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren; his 12 great grandchildren.
