He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gross (Martin) and Jacob Gross; his siblings, Jessie Gross and Mary Jane Gross; his nephew Verlyn Dale Johnson, Jr.; and his great-nieces, Hadley Barton and Payson Allison.
He is survived by: his son Jeffrey Michael of Arnett, OK; his wife Brenda Gross of Arnett, OK; his daughter Ashley Gross of Woodward, OK; his sisters, Judy Johnson (Verlyn) of Arnett, OK, Faye Gross of Arnett, OK, Regina Miller (David) of Yukon, OK and Karen Barton (Jerry) of Ardmore, OK; his grandchildren, Arli Jo and Layla Lee Murray; his cousin Lloyd Schoenhals of Clinton, OK; and his nieces and nephews, Nathan Miller, Jason Miller, William Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Gene Barton, Ty Barton, Joelle Miller, Marilou Miller, Randi Stanley, Jana Meece, Keelan Barton and Abby Wright. He is also survived by several great nephews and nieces and other family and friends.
