Doris Jean (Roper) Barnett Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2024, at the age of 93, Doris Jean (Roper) Barnett of Arnett, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred L. Roper and Eva Roper (Franklin); her husband Jack Barnett; her daughter Mary Jean Hale; and her siblings, Kenneth Roper, Marjorie Wieden and Virginia Barker.
She is survived by: her brother David Roper of Blacksburg; and her sister-in-law Mary Louise Barnett of Bolivar. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Arnett First Baptist Church (226 N Main St, Arnett, OK 73832).
