He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Parsons and Grace Cartlidge Parsons; and his siblings, George, Raymond, Homer Parsons, Jean Johnico and Viola Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Sue Callahan Parsons; his children, Daniel Parsons (Annie) of Pocola, Oklahoma and Melissa Kiser (Earl) of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Grace, Cheyenne, Earl Jr., Titan, Sam and Lela; and his brothers, Paul Parsons (Loeta) and Bob Parsons. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
