He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Maurice Carlton and Juanita Carlton (Richardson); his wife Jean Carlton (Edwards); his children, Rhonda Carlton of Grove, Mel Huff (Jason) of Searcy, Brenda Harris (Sarah Bell) of Barling, Heath Carlton (Jennifer), Johnny Carlton (Becky), Jesse Carlton (Tammy) of Baxter Springs, David Hunter (Michelle) of Rogers, Joey Hunter (Tammy) of Rogers and Jimmy Mathia (Jamie) of Baxter Springs, Kansas; and his niece Star Harmon (Fred). He was also cherished by Eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren.
