He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Wilburn and Betty Jo Blalock (York). He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Melton; his daughter Summer Dawn Melton; his stepson Nicholas Melton; his siblings, Everett Blalock (Marilyn), George Blalock, Larry Blalock and Patricia Blalock; his grandsons, Tyzon and Lorenzo Melton; and his close friends, Kenny and Angie Bruce.
