He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Edgar Stone and Margaret Lucille Stone (Brown); his wife LaNell Kinard of Blackwell, Texas.; and his daughter Vicki. He is survived by: his daughter Carla Edwards (Tommy); his grandchildren, Megan Hightower (Justin) and John Edwards (Alexandra); his great grandchildren, Amelia Hightower, Hattie Hightower, Evangeline Edwards, Thelma Edwards, Lawrence Edwards and Rosanna Edwards; his nephews, Keith Kinard and Wesley Kinard; his grandson-in-law Justin Hightower; his great grandchild Vanis Hightower; and his great-nephews, Jeff Kinard, Seth Kinard and Brandon Whisonant.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1610 C St, Ardmore, OK 73401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
