It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Winford Castleman of Ardmore, Oklahoma, born in Lindsay, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 28, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Callie Drew Castleman; and his siblings, Royce, James Ray and Mary Hale. He is survived by: his wife Arlene; his sons, Mike, Darrin and Brent Castleman (Wendy); his brother Louis Castleman (Judy); his grandchildren, Paige, Blake, Ashley (Dillon Jackson), Cody, Caleb and Claire; and his great grandchildren, Kason and Cooper.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harvey-Douglas Funeral Home & Crematory (2118 S Commerce St, Ardmore, OK 73401). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McLish Avenue Church of Christ (607 McLish Ave SW, Ardmore, OK 73401).
