He is survived by: his children, Thomas Glenn Carter of Ardmore, Edna Carol Marshall and Joseph Howard Carter; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Marshall, Stephanie Marshall, Jay Marshall, Gary Wilsie, Justin Wilsie, Justin Howard, Kayla Howard and Ashley Tapp. He is also survived by nineteen great- grandchildren.
