She was predeceased by: her father Floyd Richardson; her sister Donna Richardson Staley; her grandparents, Bill and Eliza Buckner; her aunts, Marie Drain and Nellie Stevenson; and her uncle Bill Buckner, Jr..

She is survived by: her mother Maulsie Richardson; her daughter Tara Richardson; and her siblings, Sherri Thornton and Berley Richardson, Sr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
