He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Mims and Winnie Mims (Anderson); his son Rashad Webb; his grandson Arris Mims; and his siblings, William McArthur Mims and Doris Mims Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Audray; his children, Byra Pope (Darrell), Acashon Mims, Michael Mims (Patten), Corey Dixon, Dyontray Dixon, Derrick Mims and DaRon Mims; and his brother Alfred Eugene Mims. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
