He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Virginia (Wilkins). He is survived by: his father Ray Dean Harness (Tomi); his son Brent Harness (Amber); his grandchildren, Ben Harness, Haigen and Cooper Flowers; and his aunt Patsy Ruth.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to the Ardmore High School Art Department in his name.
