She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Liffie and Nellie Mae Horton (Short); her stepfather Nedham Warren; her husbands, Clyde Bob Sands and Donald Ivie; her stepchildren, Richard Don Ivie and Linda Barston; her siblings, Zelma Arlene Whittenburg, Martha Belle Riddles, Dorothy Nell Eaton and Thomas Wayne Warren; and her nephews, Arnold McBee and Thomas Richardson.
She is survived by: her son Johnny Ray Sands Sr. (Marilyn) of Ardmore, Oklahoma; her stepson Roger Ivie (Dian); her grandson Johnny Ray Sands II (Heather); her great grandchildren, Luwinda Rain Sue Sands, Johnny Ray Sands III, Jedediah Wayne Sands and Presley Elaine Sands; her niece Debra Lucretia Gilbreath; and her nephews, Jackie Drennan and Bryant Warren (Michelle LaBrake Warren).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Craddock Funeral Home (525 S Commerce St, Ardmore, OK 73401). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Condon Grove Cemetery.
