He was predeceased by: his parents, J. D. Calhoun and Mattie Pearce Calhoun; his former wife Pearl Dane Fatheree; his son Charles "Duane" Calhoun; his wife Maxine; his stepdaughter Elaine Courtright; and his siblings, Gloria Dawn Calhoun, Marilyn Calhoun, Joyce Barker, Winfred, Red, Kenneth, Joe and Harold Calhoun.
He is survived by: his stepsons, Ron Smith (Darlene) of Ada and Mike Smith of Guthrie, Oklahoma.; and his grandchildren, James Courtright (Leslie) of Arlington, Virginia, Tracy, Don of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Amy Gadson (Craig) of Chickasha, Melinda Smith of Stratford, Becky Humphers (Jeremy) of Norman, Oklahoma, Aubrey Mills of Chickasha, Ashley Miller (Nathan) of Thomas, Oklahoma and Miranda Blevins (Thomas) of Guthrie. He is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Criswell Funeral Home (815 Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel (815 Arlington St, Ada, OK 74820).
