It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Wayne Harris of Ardmore, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 19, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold G. "Scooter" Harris and Carolyn Ruth Harris (Young); and his brother Harold Ray Harris. He is survived by: his sister Jeanna Gaither (Virgil) of Ardmore; his nephews, H. Matthew Harris (Jennifer) of Edmond and Charlie Gaither (Amanda); his niece Carrie Newcomb (Darin) of Ardmore; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carter, Abby Harris, Wyatt, Quinn, Audra Hacker, Talt Newcomb, Cade and Caroline Gaither.
