She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Fred Colbert and Resire Mae Grimes Colbert; her former husband Jay Otey; and her sisters, Rowena Fullerton, Lurene Berga, Juanita St. Clair and Velma Creed.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Michael; her sons, Mark Otey (Lennie) and Kent Otey (Cathye); her grandchildren, Hannah Otey, Chelsea Simpson, Jordan Otey, Cameron Otey and Shae Otey; her sisters, Fern Parish, Phyllis Otey and Delores Davilla; her stepdaughters, Paula Newey (Mark Newey), Gail Willis and Jami Kindle (Chris); and her stepgrandchildren, Taylor Goetz, Scott Willis, Riley Willis, John Dean, Christian Dealey and Nathan Cordell. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
