She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. Elmore and Lorena J. Elmore (Brown); her husband Walter Douglas "Doug" Grounds; her sons-in-law, Dean Plank, Cecil Johnson and Lloyd Epperson; and her granddaughters, Dusty Epperson-Estep and Heather Cross.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pat Plank, Brenda Epperson, Nancy Johnson, Janet Cross (Bill) and Rita Vaile (Jeff); and her grandchildren, Tarl Plank (Yvette), Tammy Volino, Krista White (Mike), Kary Brown (David), Gregg Johnson (Dee-Dee), Brandon Johnson (Wendy) of Jeffrey Paul, Vaile and Sixteen.
