He was predeceased by: his parents, George Steele and Ann Steele; his wife Dixie Steele; and his siblings, Paul David Steele, Marion "Red" Steele, George Ann Allen and June Stearns (Sam).
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlie Steele (Mary Anne) of Ardmore and Virginia "Nell" Sullivan of Ardmore; his children, Dana Richardson (Johnny) of Wilson, Derek Steele (Christy) of Fort Gibson and Daryl Steele (Shannon) of Ardmore; his grandchildren, Johnny "Tre', Richardson III, Landon Richardson, Luke Steele, Delaney Richardson, Ryan Steele, Ruby Steele and Dylan Steele; and his nephews, Barry Stearns, Charlie Paul Steele, David Christopher Steele, Dean Sullivan, Jarrod Steele, Mike Steele, Phil Stearns and Pug Allen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (225 1st Ave SW, Ardmore, OK 73401).
