He was predeceased by: his mother Alma McCarroll Smith; his brother Ricky Smith, Sr.; and his grandparents, Willie J. McCarroll, Sr., Lois McCarroll, Louis Baker and Lovie Smith.

He is survived by: his father Ricky Smith; his children, Keyauntta Smith, Kiara Smith, Kristen Smith, Destiny Madden, Zhia Booker, Christopher Madden, Crishawn Booker and David Booker; his siblings, Dewayne Smith, Evan Smith, Shamikka Smith and Latoya Compton; his nieces and nephews, Kalen Scott, Dayveon Wright, Ricky Smith, Jr., Taylen Smith, Amarley Smith, Luke Stevenson, Shakira Smith, Dajarae Clark and Alana Smith; and his aunts and uncles, Nolan, Robert Smith, Joyce Rushing and Diane Washington. He is also survived by six grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and family and friends.
