She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Floyd and Sue Newman; and her brothers-in-law, Bill Maddux and Don Davis. She is survived by: her husband Emmett Hudgins; her sons, David (Abby) and Steven (Lisa); her grandchildren, Evan of Dallas, Carrigan of Milwaukee and Horus of Orlando; her sister Betty Maddux of Hartshorne; her sister-in-law Bernice Davis of Bokchito; her nieces, Elaine Williams Maddux of Hartshorne and Amy Pike of Hartshorne; and her nephew Chris Davis of Denison.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church at fbcardmore.com or Good Shepherd Hospice at goodshepherdhospice.com. The family will establish the Charlotte Hudgins Memorial Scholarship Fund to be awarded each year to fine arts majors graduating from AHS and donations will be accepted at a later date when more information is available.
