With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Augusta Ernestine Atchley in Ardmore, Oklahoma, born in Benton, Arkansas, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband James; her parents, Sarah Ellen Kirby (Bearden) and Kenneth Goshen; her daughter Trudy Wilbanks; her grandson Cecil Lynn Wilbanks; her great grandchild Paige Rosenthaw; her siblings, Pansey Cole, Bessie Wyatt, Kay Hastings, Opal Gardener, Clay Kirby and Leroy Goshen; and her sister-in-law Helen Richards.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Lynn Adams of Davis, Tina Marlene Thomasson of Konawa, LeeAnn Nation (Ricky) of Valliant, Benjamin Allen Richards (Anita) of Madill, Robert Lee Richards of Davis and Clifton "Chipper" Kirby of Davis; her grandchildren, Sarah Wood (Jeremy), Crystal Adams, Tiffany Ross (Justin), Samanth Adams, Clint Thomasson (Sharon), Marsha Nation, Tasha Clark (Bill), Brittany Nation (Gregg), Candice Nation, Sierra Stuckey (Justin), Stacie Burchette and Shaliene Burchett; and her brother Eugene Goshen (Shelia). She is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
