With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ailene Brooks of Ardmore, Oklahoma, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, C. E. "Pete" Wainscott and Annie Cross Wainscott; her husbands, Jerry Haisler and Jim Brooks; her siblings, Ferman Wainscott, Max Wainscott, Ben Wainscott, Merle Wainscott, Millard Wainscott, Margie Kerr and Lemesa Byrd; and her grandson Chad Brooks.
She is survived by: her son Charles Haisler (Jessica) of Ardmore; her grandsons, Tanner Atwood of Moore and Cooper Haisler; her stepchildren, Ernie Brooks, Danny Brooks, Annavee Kulberg and Sheila Thomas; her siblings, Lou Janda of Ada and Morris Wainscott of Allen; her children, Janet Nickell, Cathy Brewer, Charlene Clour, Dawna Kay Hutchings-Ailey, Jeff, Charley and Cecil; and her grandchildren, Janett New, Kevin Nickell, Kyle, Eric Clour, Chase, Rachel Wainscott, Nick Haisler, Charlie Wainscott, Cecil Wainscott and Casey Clour. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Alexander Gray Funeral Home (1302 7th St, Wilson, OK 73463). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Ardmore (225 1st Ave SW, Ardmore, OK 73401).
