He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Fortenberry; his children, Lauren Fortenberry, Emily Fortenberry and Josie Fortenberry; his stepchildren, Justin Prindle (Krista Prindle), Joshua Prindle and Jamie Newton (Zach Newton); his grandchildren, Kate Prindle, Jordyn Prindle and James Prindle; his siblings, Judy Shelley and Philip Fortenberry; and his mother Mary Nell Fortenberry Dicus.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to "Missions Fund" in care of New Hope Church of Christ.
