Roberta Elene Elder Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Elene Elder of Arapaho, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 17, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Ruth Schimmels (Smith) and Claude Schimmels; and her brothers, Vernon Schimmels and Clifford Schimmels. She is survived by: her husband John Lee Elder; her children, Peggy Alexander (Geoffrey), Kathy Laurents (Fred), Doyle Elder (Jo Lynn) and Lee Elder; her sister Sandra Johnson (Ron); and her sister-in-law Lois Schimmels. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family has suggested those wanting to give a memorial contribution may do so to the Arapaho-Butler Public School Library Fund or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
