He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Poindexter and Jessie Poindexter (Maple); his wife Leona Lax; and his son Kendall Poindexter. He is survived by: his sons, Russell Lady (Cheri) of Weatherford and Richard Lady of Arapaho; and his siblings, Wanda Moore of Carinth, TX., Billy Dean Poindexter (Maria) of Denver and Don Poindexter (Cindy) of Skiatook. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and cousins.
