He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Punley and Zelda Punley (Ward); his wife Ruby Ann Beartrack; his siblings, Arthur Punley, Jr. and Nona Punley-Bessette; and his great grandchild Eva Komalty.
He is survived by: his close friend Glennetta Whitefeather; his children, Michele Punley of Anadarko, OK, Kristie (Randall Subieta) of Apache, OK, Kay Hokeah of Chickasha, OK, Norma (Chris Grillo) of Moore, OK and Clint Punley; his brother Kenneth (Estelle Punley); his grandchildren, Will Smith, Drae Boardingham, Gage (Kaeli Boardingham), Madison Grace Punley, Levi Yeahpau, Randi (David Komalty), Hunner Hokeah, Haven Hokeah, Kyleah Hokeah (Tinky), Alex Grillo, Ashton Grillo, Archer Grillo, Ally Grillo and Austin Grillo; and his great grandchildren, Gageriel Boardingham, Kyle-Marie Boardingham, Kya Hokeah, Malachi Komalty, Lyla Komalty, Kyrie Yeahpau and Keeton Yeahpau. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ray & Martha's Funeral Home (1115 S Mission St, Anadarko, OK 73005). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Rock Spring Indian Baptist Church. A burial was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at the Memory Lane Cemetery (2324 S Mission St, Anadarko, OK 73005).
