He was predeceased by: his sons, Shelby Leonard and Sherril Don; and his siblings, Howard, Ernest, Ella McDaniel and Helen Whitaker.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Fountain; his daughter-in-law Toya Martin; and his grandchildren, April Davis (Eric), Robbie Martin (Michelle), Klint Fountain, Cari Clodfelter (Mike), Misty Patterson (Marco), Nikki Davis (Joe) and Kliff Fountain (Tricia). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; eight great, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
