He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Cecil and Beulah Odell Lindsey (Cronan); his wife Vera Faye Threlkeld; and his siblings, R. C. Lindsey, Dale Lindsey, David Lindsey and Marie Baroni.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas (Sharon Lindsey) of Demopolis, AL and Deanna "Shelly" (James Shafer) of Apache; his grandchildren, Bryan (Jen Chaisson), Jessi (Waylon McCray), Kristine (Landen Bosman), James (Carlie Lindsey), Steven Lindsey, Dillon (Hannah Lindsey) and Mya Shafer; his great grandchildren, Micah McCray, Keegan McCray, Nicolas Lindsey, Rian McCray, Brandon Lindsey, Zachary Lindsey, Jace Stone, Adlynn Stone, Lilly Smith, Paislee McKinney, Logan McKinney, Jaxon Lindsey, Tucker McKinney, Parker Lindsey, Tristan Chaisson and Dean Chaisson; and his brothers, Donald (LaVenie Lindsey), Doyle Lindsey and Danny (Debbie Lindsey).
