He is survived by: his former spouse Francis Tuck; his stepson Wendall Gay; his son Gary Thomas of Arizona; his wife Rosalyn Begay; his children, Lori Lynn Thomas and Wendell Gay of Texas; and his siblings, Ruby Lizzie Thomas Harjo of California, Gerald Don "Chub" Thomas of McAlester, OK, McNew Islam Thomas (Nadine) of Lane, OK, Lester Berry Thomas of Antlers, OK and Impson Mataha Thomas, Jr..
