He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Smith and Nora Boykin Smith; and his siblings, Clyde Smith, Edgar Smith, Edward Smith, Wick Smith, Carl Smith, Sanford Smith, Willie Rae Belcher, Bobbie Franks, Elma Martin and Louise Sherring.
He is survived by: his mother-in-law Mary Jo Rosenthal; his wife Mary Jo Smith; his children, Stacy L. Smith LeNorman of Antlers, OK, Tracy L. Smith Jones of Sulphur, OK and Jeffery C. Smith of Antlers, OK; his sister Val McLaughlin of Los Osos, California; and his grandchildren, Max LeNorman, Alex LeNorman, Hunter Smith and Meredith Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Rattan Cemetery Fund.
