She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Melton and Lorene Melton (Younge); her husband Dwaine Mays; and her siblings, Michael Melton and Linda K. Mann.
She is survived by: her children, Amanda Hyde (David) of Antlers and John Rymel (Dena) of Durant, Oklahoma; and her grandchildren, Christian Hammons, Conner Hammons, Lexi Hyde and Kade Hyde. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
