He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jones and Miami Elizabeth Jones (Underwood); his grandparents, Lawrence and Millie Underwood; his brother Wayne Cathey; and his son Henry Eldon Cathey.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda A. Cathey (Greenwood); his children, Michael Dean Cathey (Heather) of Pleasanton, TX and Natasha Leann Cathey of Antlers, OK; his sisters, Sharon Walker (Ronald) of Antlers, OK and Barbara Roe (Jim) of Antlers, OK; his grandchildren, Brice Allen Harper, Reanna Marie Cathey, Anna Grace Cathey, Corbin Michael Cathey, Ryker Dean Cathey, Taylor Lainge Cathey Ramirez (Zachary), Yancy DeRay Cathey, Raygin Creek Cathey and Samuel Wayne Cathey; and his great grandchild Ellianna Joan Ramirez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
