He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Blan (Harrison); his siblings, Robert Blan (Delores) and Patsy Martin; his children, Kenneth Blan II (Elaine), DeAnne Fortenberry (Frank), Joseph Blan (Debbie) and Linda Byford; and his stepchildren, Regina Wade (Archie) and Lonnie. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
