He is survived by: his parents, Neal Akard and Peggy Akard (Powell) of Antlers, Oklahoma; his daughter Bailey Akard of Colbert, Oklahoma; his sister Ashley (Jason Kellett); and his aunts, Betty Gregg of Antlers and Patty (Scotty).
