He is survived by: his mother-in-law Dovie Shilling; his daughter Ellen Meshaya (Preston) of Finley, Oklahoma; his brother Harrison Underwood of Gallup; and his grandchildren, John Spurlock, Shane Meshaya, Codie Birdsong, Danny Underwood, Morgan Spurlock, Gabby Birdsong, Ethan Birdsong, Kate Underwood and Ashlynn Underwood.
