He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Kimble Maynard and Grace Maynard (Brauer); and his brothers, Scott Maynard and Robert Maynard. He is survived by: his wife Paulette Maynard; his children, Ted Morgan (Georgia) of Junction, TX and Debbie (Michael) of Junction, TX; his sisters, Johne Porter of Georgia and Gloria Gerril of Wisconsin; and his grandchildren, Chelsi Warden, Nathaneal, Chad Morgan, Ashley and Christa. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
