It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Simpson (Antlers, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 28, 2020, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Simpson and Thelma Jean Simpson (Pool); and his siblings, Marie Simpson and Kenny Miller. He is survived by: his wife Peggie Simpson (Payne); his children, James Simpson Jr. of Muskogee, Eric Simpson of Antlers, Alex Carter of Waldron, Arkansas and Stephanie Simpson of Muskogee, Oklahoma; his siblings, Hollis Simpson (Debra) of Antlers, Glen Simpson (Vickie) of Heavener, Oklahoma, Kenya Simpson of Heavener and Ashley Holt of Rogers, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Nick Underwood of Ft. Smith, Payton and Preston Lanier of Greenwood, Arkansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
