He was predeceased by: his parents, Burrell L. Horton and Ellen Faye Horton (Thomas). He is survived by: his wife Raymunda Cano Horton; his children, Anabell Diaz (Roberto) of Greensboro, NC, Bruce Horton (Christy) of Antlers, OK and Leticia Graves of Kernersville, NC; his sister Francine Neeley of Paris, TX; his grandchildren, Hailey Diaz, Hannah Diaz, Stephen Graves and Savannah Horton; and his goddaughter Katie Paredes. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In Lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in James' name to the Masonic Charity Foundation of Oklahoma.
