He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jean Stalder Holt and Albert Holt; his sister Alice Marie Johnson; and his close friends, Gary Snyder, Otis Hawkins, Gary Smith, Dennis Roulain and Terry Taylor.

He is survived by: his daughters, Alicia Johnson, Brandi Johnson of Anadarko and Durgan Trotter (John Henry) of Lawton; his grandchildren, Shayna Kaulaity (Matthew), Deyton McCathern, Kinlinn Niedo, Michael Kade McCathern, Gabriel Niedo, Ayden McCathern and Dayleigh Grace Trotter; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Phoenix Rose and Nico Kaulaity; his brothers, Jim Johnson (Anita) of Altus and Jeff Johnson of Dallas, Texas; and his cousin Terri Talley Hayworth. He is also survived by one niece, five nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (700 W Petree Rd, Anadarko, OK 73005).
