She was predeceased by: her parents, Angeline Hanson and Jim Hanson; her siblings, Margaret Renfrow, John Hanson and Robert Hanson; and her daughter Michelle Springstead.

She is survived by: her grandson Ryan Springstead; and her sisters, Mary Chrismon, Christine Fritze, Lillian Biggerstaff, Patti VanPelt and Tracie Feek. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
