With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Van Taptto in Anadarko, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Lee Taptto; his brothers, Russell and Kris Taptto; his grandparents, Bill, Lottie Quoetone and Susie Tawkoyty; and his aunts and uncles, Willie, Gene Quoetone, Ruby Lopez, Cornelia Karty and Judy Littleman.

He is survived by: his mother Patricia Taptto Eaglenest; his nephew Eric Taptto; his nieces, Shannon Taptto Martinez (Randy Martinez) and Kelli Taptto; his sister-in-law Sharon Taptto; his grandchildren, Allison and Tristan Martinez; and his friend John Tahbone. He is also survived by aunts and cousins.
