He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Lee Taptto; his brothers, Russell and Kris Taptto; his grandparents, Bill, Lottie Quoetone and Susie Tawkoyty; and his aunts and uncles, Willie, Gene Quoetone, Ruby Lopez, Cornelia Karty and Judy Littleman.
He is survived by: his mother Patricia Taptto Eaglenest; his nephew Eric Taptto; his nieces, Shannon Taptto Martinez (Randy Martinez) and Kelli Taptto; his sister-in-law Sharon Taptto; his grandchildren, Allison and Tristan Martinez; and his friend John Tahbone. He is also survived by aunts and cousins.
