He was predeceased by: his wife Helen German; his parents, Lester Leroy and Lorena German; and his brother Michael German. He is survived by: his children, James Robert German (Kim German), Earl Todd (Lynn German), Lorena (Wayne Sutter) and Lee Ann McPhearson Many; and his siblings, Cathy Merkel and David German (Patty German). He is also survived by son Many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
