He is survived by: his wife Betty of Denver; his children, Kent Jarvis Hooks of Denver and Kendra Hooks of Denver; his stepdaughter Monik Shoels of Denver; and his brothers, Lonnie Hooks (Linda) and Lester Hooks (Charlotte) of Little Elm, TX. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
