It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kateri Kay Tekakwitha Ahtone of Anadarko, Oklahoma, born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 1, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Luther and Eva Guy Luther (Guy); her husband Vincent Ahtone; and her grandchildren, Titus Liam Moore and Lula Kay Ahtone-Longhat.
She is survived by: her children, Darren M. Luther of Anadarko, Oklahoma, Shannon L. Ahtone of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Juanita K., Arissa Ahtone and Alice Ahtone of Anadarko, Oklahoma.; her brothers, Robert Walker (Christi) of Oklahoma City and Richard Willis (Judith) of Moore, Oklahoma.; her grandchildren, BreeAnn Wetselline, Sylvester Luther, Autumn Luther, Jeremih Williams, Ky Williams, Angel Elizarraras, Ryan Ahtone, Eva Walker, Alexis Ahtone-Abbott, Elora Moore, Hadrian Moore, Caius Moore, Kamden Guy and Kelecia Guy; and her great grandchildren, Nyla Prince, Jakoby Howell and Riley Howell. She is also survived by special friends, all her co-workers/family members.
