He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Whitt, Janet Elrod (Robert) and Norman; his granddaughters, Hannah Reyes (Chad) and Katelyn Elrod; his brother Glen Whitt (Lynne) of Denison, TX.; his nephew Dr. Jeffrey Whitt (Erica Cole); his great-nephew Jake Cole; his great-niece Penelope Whitt of Denton, TX; his nephews, Hunter Marrow and Sugar Land; his niece Amanda Jackson; his sister-in-law Pat Benrud; and his caregiver Mary Dobbs.
